| Introduction | Well, I started riding when I was about 6 years old. I learned to ride through various hunter/jumper stables through the years and at the age of 13 I finally got my own horse. He was a great first horse and taught me alot about horse handling and and the wonderful world of bareback riding. I later passes him on to another little girl when I was in highschool and purchased a thoroughbred yearling as my own highschool graduation present! I majored in Equine Science at SRJC and this gave me the foundation I needed to start my own 3 year old filly. I did all of her training myself and later sold her as a 6 year old into a nice show home. While I don't currently own my own horse I have many close to me whom I feel as if I own and am able to enjoy as much as I enjoyed my mare. |
