| Introduction | On October 9, 2013, my life changed forever when I went under the knife and had a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (which is a fancy way of saying that I had 80% of my stomach removed). Now, I'm the Bariatric Babe and am learning a healthier way to enjoy food so the pounds will melt away and stay evaporated forever. The fun part is coming up with food that fulfills my new nutritional needs and that my husband and three adorable children will eat as well (well one of the adorable children anyway -- the other two are insanely picky and don't eat anything).
