| Introduction | Welcome fellow fanatics, my name is Rick Passek (a.k.a flyfisher). I have been fishing from the age of 6 and I was taught by my father who is one of the best all round fisherman I know. I started fishing with more frequency around age 16, and really started to become fanatical when I was 22-23. I have been flyfishing for approximately 15 years in that time have taken so many courses that I have stopped counting, with courses ranging from flycasting to entomology. I have fished all types of water, including fresh water lakes,rivers and ponds as well as, salt water for salmon. My preferance is fresh water rivers and lakes. I am a catch and relese fisherman, with the obvious exeption of injured fish. I'm am in the early stage developments of creating a introductory level flyfishing course for the beginner flyfisher as well as finishing my first instructional book for publication. |
