| Introduction | I am currently an English Teacher in Seoul South Korea. I have probably had about 50 jobs in my life. Yeah I will admit it may not have been the best strategy for a solid resume, however it was interesting at times and I certainly learned what I DIDN'T Want to do. Before Korea I was in promotions and sales for a small Seattle based sports energy drink called "Zipfizz". I was also on a wildland firefighting handcrew in 2005. Just before coming to teach in Korea I went to France for a month and tried to join the French Foreign Legion. I spent 3 weeks in selection at Aubagne, and passed all my medicals, psychological and intelligence testing and the security "Gestapo" background interviews. But unfortunately they decided not to take me to the next step which was basic training at Castelnaudary. I have 6 more months teaching in Korea, then I will do a little traveling, go back home and visit friends and family and the plan is to enlist in the US Army in one year, August 2008. I am trying to decide which MOS I will enlist in. I want either 11x Infantry, or 68w "Combat" Medic. I feel they will take me up close and personal to the action, where ever that may be. |
