Introduction	I was born in New York City, and schooled in Massachusetts. The travel bug found me back packing through South America for six months and living on a communal farm in Denmark for a year. In 1981, I moved to beautiful Colorado to study solar energy. After working for other people for several years, I started Positive Energy in 1985, and The Green Builder's Catalog in 1988. I am happy to say I LOVE MY JOB! I live in Boulder with my husband Tim, daughter Kara and solar collecting cat Rascal.
