| Introduction | We retired to Anna Maria Island in early 2008. And, although the island is a wonderful place to be during the winter, it is almost unbearable in the summer. So, summer 2008 we spent on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound and we continued our adventures the summer 2009 by working for 4 months at the McKinley Chalet Resort in Denali National Park Alaska. Summer 2010 we traveled up the US east coast. One of the highlights was traveling along and hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway. Summer 2011 we spent 3 months in Europe – France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Portugal. 2012 we spent 3 months in Central/South America. 2013 we went to Bali for a month. Follow along.... |
