Introduction	I have taught children to read and write for five years. I'm a first grade teacher at Advanced Technology Academy and am getting my Masters to become a reading specialist. My favorite teaching moments are when I hear my struggling students pick up a book and successfully read! It gives me goosebumps! There is nothing like giving a child this invaluable skill they will use for the rest of their life!
