Introduction	My wife and I have two grown children who are now out of the nest, gainfully employed and married. ------------------------------------------------------- Many years ago I studied chemical engineering at MIT and shared an apartment in back bay Boston with Bob, Jeff, Rafael and the Kramer brothers. -------------------------------------------- After a 3 year stint with General Electric I went to Seattle to study some more chemical engineering. ------------------------------------------ For 27 years I did research and engineering for Corning Inc and had some excellent experiences playing with hot glass and many other very cool processes. I was involved in several technology transfer assignments which sent me on a couple of dozen company funded adventure trips to Japan and Korea. ------------------------ I climbed Kilimanjaro and toured the Tanzanian Serengeti with friends in 2006. --------------------------- In Dec 2009 I cast off the corporate chains and now work independently and only on projects that are worthwhile and/or good fun.
