Introduction This really should be an ‘about us’ section, because this isn’t a personal blog but a gathering point for the fledgling community of scholars interested in Colin Gunton’s work. We gather here to post ideas, give and receive feedback (and praise) and generally explore the relatively new arena of Gunton scholarship. This isn't a closed club; if you got this far and still are interested, you are part of the community. Soon there will be a ‘community’ section which will list all the folks actively working on a paper, essay, dissertation, thesis, or book on some aspect of Gunton’s theology. Keep looking back.

Until then, a few words about myself. I’m an American who stayed on in Scotland after doing a M.Theo. degree at St Andrews to do a PhD under John Webster at Aberdeen. In the past two years, I’ve given a few short papers around the UK and Ireland on Gunton’s theology (that sounds more impressive than it is). Watch this site for more of my work. And yours. Get in contact (my email is to the left) if you want to post something you have written for comment.

As for the picture . . . well, it looks a little like me.
