Introduction Hello Everyone... Thanks for dropping by. I'm a full-time grad student in the area of Environmental studies, which is one of my passions. I've come to realize that so many things affect our environment and every living being. Every decision we make has an impact on others in some way...even those thousands of miles away. Ultimately, this blog is about things that are very important to me and many others: Environment, Animal/Human Rights, Veganism, and the 'Greater Good'. You will soon find information here regarding all of those subjects, including reviews and resources for my fellow do-no-harmers, important causes and petitions, and some general information that is simply great to know! I hope you find this blog interesting and will share it with others. We are all in this together!
Interests Philanthropy, Environment, Animal Rights, Human Rights, Veganism, Music, Enlightenment, Travel, Global Causes, Meditation, Spirituality, Education, Liberal/Progressive Politics
Favorite Movies The Twilight Saga - Love it and not ashamed to admit it. I enjoy anything that has a good plot or can make me laugh. I tend to avoid chick flicks or sappy movies that make me cry. Probably because real life causes I support are sufficiently depressing! Definitely love Christmas/Holiday movies and documentaries.
Favorite Music Within Temptation, Nightwish (both with Tarja Turunen and Anette Olzon), Kamelot (with Roy Khan), Blackmore's Night, Clannad, Secret Garden, David Arkenstone, Maire Brennan, Loreena McKennitt, and pretty much everything on the Celtic Circle series cds.
Favorite Books Love love LOVE the 'Outlander' series by Diana Gabaldon. I have read the entire series twice and I'm not-so-patiently awaiting the final installment. 'The Count of Monte Cristo' by Alexandre Dumas, 'Knight in Shining Armor' by Jude Deveraux, 'The Stand' by Stephen King, and 'The Secret Garden' by Frances Hodgson Burnett are among my most favorite books. I also truly love the Nancy Drew Mysteries and the Laura Ingalls Wilder books from my childhood. Good stuff!
