| Introduction | Rebecca and I have married since 1993. She and I have no children, but have two cats, Braveheart and Kohlby. Rebecca and I have been serving as United Methodist pastors since 1997. I currently pastor the Monroe City and Mt. Vernon United Methodist Churches in northeast Missouri. One of the big passions in my life (besides ministry) is music. I began with piano lessons at age 5, and would later study a number of other instruments including guitar, clarinet, and trumpet. I am a "classically" trained musician and have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music. In the past few years I've become particularly fond of folk music and am devoting most of my musical efforts to the 5-string banjo and harmonica. I consider Pete Seeger to be one of my musical heroes. |
