| Introduction | I have always been an avid reader and prolific writer. My writing began in primary school when I spent my recess money to buy scribblers to write stories in, and continues to accumulate on scraps of paper and computer discs. Life has been an education for me and continues to be a learning experience. Some of my work has been published in such publications as Reflections, Good Tidings, Downhomer, Christmas in the Country, I Love Cats Magazine, Word, FellowScript, 53 North, Voices of Labrador, Them Days, Labrador Life, The Labradorian, and A Celebration of Poets. I have also had a song recorded and several commentaries and selections of poetry aired on CBC Radio. I contribute to various and sundry publications, and have other works in progress. I have been an invited speaker for church services, Women's Groups and emcee for banquets. I am a member of The International Society of poets, InScribe Christian Writers' Fellowship and Writers' Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador. |
