Introduction	With a sound firmly rooted in the sampling from the 90s as well as the instrumentation of today, MC/producer Maverick has become a very highly-demanded commodity these days, ever since producing Quartermaine's "Strictly for the Disco", which was featured by Pete Rock and Peter Rosenberg (of New York's Hot 97.1FM) on their Cornerstone Mixtape. Maverick has worked with and performed alongside artists such as Jeru the Damaja, 88 Keys, Low Budget's Cy Young and R&B newcomer Bilal Salaam, as well as releasing his own solo instrumental project, "the First Step", which has been garnering alot of attention all across the globe.
