| Introduction | Welcome to Bubble & Squeak, my blog about family recipes and tips to save time and money! What is bubble and squeak? It's a phrase I heard at least once a week growing up from my Mom. When we asked "What's for Dinner?" Mom would reply "Bubble and squeak. Ask me again and I'll tell you the same." It didn't take long to figure out that meant leftovers. As a busy Mom and Wife and Full-Time employee of AT&T, bubble and squeak style cooking has saved me time & money. The phrase lives on in my house but my Boy's never figured out what it meant because day 2 dinners (Squeak) were completely different than day one dinners (bubble). I have 3 sons, 3 new step daughters and an amazing husband I love to cook for. |
