| Introduction | I'm a 20-something Southern girl -- the only child of an advertising guru and her mechanic husband -- and was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. Although I love to travel, I must say that Dorothy knew what she was talking about when she said, "There's no place like home." I have my Master's degree in speech-language pathology -- and that's how I pay the bills -- but I prefer to pursue my creative endeavors. So, if I'm not onstage or if I'm not writing fiction, I'm either in front of the camera or behind it doing freelance photography. Routines have a tendency to make me restless, so I love to be "out and about" and experience new things...whether it's river tubing in Jamaica, snorkeling in Grand Cayman, or horseback riding in the Bahamas. As my mom likes to say, my license plate doesn't say LIVEWIRE for nothing! |
