| Introduction | I'm pinching myself. For as long as I can remember, I've been an artist, and recently have fulfilled a life-long dream. I finally made the trip to Italy, immersing myself in a culture rich in breathtaking art, amazing food and a history that affects the emotions of even the most stoic of travelers. Unplugged for 3 weeks, no cell phone, no Facebook, only sketchbook and camera in tow, I slowed down, took a deep breath and sunk into this beautiful culture. Now that I am back, I'd like to share this experience with you.
