| Introduction | My personal blog site is http://www.liddle.co.uk/ Well, despite having a go at knitting as a child & not taking to it, I found myself in hospital for a long while in May 2002; surrounded by ladies who had things to do to whittle away the boredom I found myself being shown how to knit properly. The following year I found myself pregnant and what better a reason to get knitting cute and bright white baby garments. I've also now discovered there are so many gorgeous home accessories to make, so I'm on a mission to transform my Barrat home into an inspiring textured array of wonderment! Stunning, luxurious & embellished cushions & throws make a house a home! My aim is to get everyone everywhere knitting, I never buy small handbags anymore, whats the point? no space for my on-the-go-projects! The endless opportunities in our daily lifestyles lend themselves well to this hobby. I prefer to knit on strong wood like birch or rosewood. The only thing I dislike in the knitworld is ACRYLIC! | Interests | Knitting, Crocheting, Hiking, Funny films, Cooking, Wine, Gardening, Cycling. Most ideal holiday: done islands and oceans so I'd say to hire the most fabulous and luxurious camper-van, load up with yarn, pucker coffee, wine and french bread sticks, my dog, my hubby and son and drive for hours and days all over Britain stopping at rural waterside spots that appear undiscovered but next to a fabulous country-pub which serves great food all day! Endless trips to beaches to build sandcastles and then home/van to sleep it all off... |
| Favorite Movies | Trains, planes & Automobiles. Amelie (French, subtitled film). The Money Pit. High heels low lifes. Saving Grace. anything else funny... oh and 'Fight club' because it's brilliantly made, although not funny in the traditional sense. |
| Favorite Music | Soul, Soft jazz, old blues, Rap, Funk, Rock, Classical, Opera, Pop etc... I know! all over the shop huh?! lol. Oh and anything that is an artist doing something unique as always admire that confidence... Ultimate favourite music artist is Amy Winehouse!!! Worst: Maria-screetchy-flippin-Carey! |
