| Introduction | Hello! My name is Becky! (and that's my daughter Jennifer in the photo with me) Welcome! This is my rambling blogsite. A place where I come, to visit, play, laugh, learn, vent, discuss, read, and simply let go.. I named it The Power of: YOU ~ because, ultimately; I do believe that YOU have the power and ability to help someone heal. (yes, active listening and reading counts!!! lol) I am a cancer patient; and survivor ~ by all terms. I was dx in March 2006 with Malignant Metastatic Melanoma (now, try to say that three times fast!) ~stage III. In October of 2008 I went to stage IV. It's been a wild ride. So hang on tight!!! |
| Interests | THE POWER OF YOU! I'm interested in YOU! I'm interested in finding the Power in YOU! my theory: CANCER IS THE CURE Cancer has brought upon a fine awareness of life's definative end. You don't have to be diagnosed with cancer or any other terminal illness to find the Power of YOU! I'm interested in finding out what motivates you? What entices you? What qualities or attributes to your character shine through? I want you to find INTEREST in YOU. I want you to realize the potential that Cancer has, to Cure. Yes, I said Cure. Cure all of Life's ailments. It has a power far greater than you can perceive. I want to tap into that Power. I want to spark your interest. I want You to learn and grow, from yourself. I want you to learn to LIVE. To learn to LIVESTRONG; as quoted by Lance Armstrong. CANCER is powerful. It WILL either make you LIVE, or die. I CHOOSE TO LIVE. I CHOOSE TO LIVESTRONG. I CHOOSE, NOT TO MERELY EXIST.
