| Favorite Movies | I like all kinds of movies in all kinds of genres, and times. Some of the classics for me are House of 1000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects, The Shining, and The Exorcist Part 3. And then of course, there is Donnie Darko. I am absolutely fascinated by the idea of time travel and the ethical questions it implies. No, I don't only like horror movies, though a lot of the movies I like are horror movies. I like my movies like I like my books, or anything else, to the extent that they elucidate the human condition. |
| Favorite Music | Where to start? I love the 80s, the Oldies, the 90s, everything, though it does seem to me today that there are no men in music anymore. You know someone like MIck Jagger. I could be here all day listing everything I like to listen to. Just to start, I love Jim Morrison and the Doors, Mick Jagger's the Rolling Stones, Guns and Roses, Queen, Slayer, Metallica, Garbage, the Bangles, Blondie, the Pretenders, etc. Againn, I have a big range in the kind of music I like. I just downloaded some Dean Martin and Al Martino. |
| Favorite Books | Again, where to start. Lately I've been very 'superficial' in what I've been reading. I'm reading a book about Marvin Miller right now. I've been very focused on sports lately if you've read my blog you know this. But, of course, in discussing books, it all starts with Plato and The Republic. His quest to find a republic that a philosopher can flourish in continues. |
