| Introduction | Part of serving as Program Director with TMM allows me the opportunity to communicate with individuals, colleges, and churches the uniqueness of our training program and our philosophy of ministry. The Master's Mission is a missionary training and sending organization that focuses on equipping families for long term 'incarnational' ministry in order to establish and strengthen churches where there is minimal Christian presence. The training program has two tracts: the Bible for cross-cultural ministry and technical modules for both men and women which provide the skills necessary to do ministry effectively in hard to access regions or cultures. The training program lasts for 11 months and candidates live in cabins without power to begin acclimating them to the alternative power sources which can be used in less developed places around the world. We are located in the remote and beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. We believe the family is the main platform of ministry while not excluding the role of singles. We emphasize the complete authority and sufficiency of Scripture for both the message we teach and the methods we employ in doing missions around the world. |
