| Introduction | Flowers of all types are a major source of inspiration for me. I love their absolute optimism and marvelous energy, both opening out and inviting bees in! My first interest in art was sculpture and I enjoyed learning to weld large steel pieces many of which are based on the curves and forms of flowers. Now I make oil paintings and digital images of flowers which emphasize their curving forms, brilliant colors, and energy. I also see a lot of humor in life and have been drawing cartoons to share with my friends. My hope here is to lighten the day for everyone. Humor heals me. |
