Introduction There is an absence of linear thought in politics. I strive to bring truth and cause-and-effect thinking to political issues that are important to all Americans. This blog was founded on my belief that liberals and conservatives can and should coexist, thus the FNR moniker. My hope is dwindling for peaceful coexistence, and my tone reflects that. Though I am a Christian, I don't believe religion has a place in discussions of politics or policy. None of my arguments will be based upon my religious beliefs, but on facts alone. There are plenty of ways to argue for conservative values from a secular viewpoint. This form of discourse is one of our most powerful tools to change minds. My essays, articles and columns have been published in state, local and national publications. In addition to freelance writing, I was a columnist for both a local newspaper and for Examiner.com. I began my career as an editor, and have served as editor for too many publications to list here.
