About me

Introduction The Apostle John wrote on a scroll the Words of the One among the Lampstands who spoke. When He saw Him, who had a double edged sword coming out of His mouth, he fell at his feet like a dead man. Earlier, John, also under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote:"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The writer of Hebrews put it this way: "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart." When told in God's Word to examine everything carefully (1 Thes. 5:21), ought we not be as the Bereans who examined the Scriptures daily to see if what was being taught was true? Assuredly,"if they speak not according to the Word, it is because there is no light in them." Jeremiah wrote: "This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind, who makes the flesh his strength and turns his heart from the LORD." Accordingly, this Blog's resolve is - not to go beyond what is written, nor take away from it, but to measure teaching by Its whole counsel - and by so doing, be refined like silver.
