| Introduction | In 1989 I suffered a near-death cardiac arrest that left my heart impaired. It pumps out only 45% of its blood with each stroke. I’m pre-diabetic. I’ve had colon cancer (detected and removed early). I had an enlarged prostate. Still, at age 78, I work hard, exercise vigorously, go for 20-mile walks. I’ve climbed the steps of one of the world’s tallest structures. Exercise, diet, and attitude help me live longer, better. I hope we can share experiences of living longer, better.
