IntroductionI have written over 55 published books for children. Most are natural history. But I tend toward lyrical language and wordplay in both fiction and nonfiction. You are likely to find me writing at my computer, speaking at a school/conference, watching fish on a coral reef, or watching migrating birds in a prairie or rain forest. I am looking forward to joining with the other terrific nonfiction authors on this blog.
