Introduction	Journalist, photographer, animator, Dennis R. Upkins has held many titles over the years but the one universal label that he takes the most pride in is simply storyteller. Upkins was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Receiving an academic scholarship, he attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English. Upkins later relocated to Atlanta, Ga. and attended the Art Institute of Atlanta where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts & Animation. In his spare time, Upkins enjoys drawing, photography, rollerblading, martial arts and of course writing.
