| Introduction | I’m a single woman over 50, sharing space with my 12 year old daughter who has two adult siblings that live nearby. I was born and raised in Seattle and for the sake of the locals; I am an Issaquah High School alum. I'm half Scandinavian mixed with a little Native American. I’ve always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit, inherited from my father. I have been sole proprietor for three very unique businesses as well as a 12 year stint as a professional model/talent. I have a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and without His guidance I’m pretty sure I would not be here to write this to you today. To continue to hone my skills as a writer, I thought starting a blog would not only be fun, but helpful for me and my fellow travelers. I hope to share some of my past experiences while attending, The Life School of Hard Knocks, along with the pitfalls and pinnacles of my journey. I hope to be able to respond to those that have asked, “How are you so resilient?” So here I am, beginning my blog as a 50+, single mom, in search of the perfect job, the perfect man and the perfect life. Don’t we all want that? “I’m old enough to know better, but I’m young enough to do it again.” Mom |

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
When I had a pixie style cut my neck frequently felt naked, but now with the added length my hair has actually become a new accessory!
