Introduction	Director of Bands - Cordova High School - Cordova, Tennessee Taylor Criswell graduated with honors in 2006 from the University of North Alabama where he is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Music Education. He has an extensive resume as a marching band and drum corps instructor teaching in Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, and Mississippi. This will be his fifth year with the Phantom Regiment, serving two years as a marching member and three as an instructor. Taylor has also worked for the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps and Memphis Sound. In 2006, Mr. Criswell founded, designed, and directed the Juxtafusion Brass Theater at the University of North Alabama. The ensemble was composed of students from UNA and surrounding high schools. Taylor holds memberships in MENC, Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society, Kappa Kappa Psi (alumnus), Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, and is a founding member and past president of Alpha Mu Lambda Fraternity. Mr. Criswell has also served as a graduate assistant of the Collegiate Singers and Chamber Choir at the University of North Alabama. In 2003, Taylor sang the role of Beto in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi with Opera South.
