Introduction	My love of sewing started when I was in 8th grade when I learned to sew in our required Home Ec class.Sewing has been a part of my life ever since. I've gone from making clothing for me, my kids, and my grandkids to home dec items, totes and bags, crafts and finally to quilting. When I started thinking about retiring I signed up for a quilting class and I was hooked immediately. Three years later I retired (July 2010) after working for our local school district for 30 years. I now spend most of my free time in my quilting room. I feel like everyday is a vacation day now. What a blessing to have the time to sew to my hearts content and to have a wonderful room dedicated to all my luscious fabrics and sewing treasures!
