Introduction	P. S. Rajput, presently working as Asstt. Librarian in University College of Science, MLS University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He has been awarded Junior Research Fellowship by UGC. He is the first to receive Prof. S.P. Narang Research Promotion Award by IATLIS 2010 in Pune University and is the recipient of Second Best Student Paper 2011 award by Kelpro Bulletin, Kerala. He started his professional career as a librarian in 2005, from IPS Academy, Indore (M.P). He holds the experience of working as Lecturer in SLISc, Devi Ahilya University, Indore and is an Academic Counselor for IGNOU for the various subjects of BLISc and MLISc. He has over 42 research articles in National/International journals and conference proceedings to his credit and has delivered a considerable number of invited lectures. He has attended and presented papers in many conferences, seminars and workshops. He has recently co-authored a book entitled Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Library and Information Technology. He is a Life Member of ILA, IDLA, and IASLIC.
