Introduction I love to teach and I love to perform and I love to teach others to perform! I have always had a desire to see some evidence of usable talent in the area of the visual arts. I never really have, but one weekend at a church women's conference of all places, I discovered an art form that I have rapidly come to love. I am also a passionate practitioner of the performing arts. Music, chiefly of the vocal variety, drama and dance are at the top of the list.
Interests Music, dance, drama, literature, poetry, painting, drawing...I'm not necessarily actively involved in all of these (well, most of them), but I'm definitely interested in all of them.
Favorite Movies "The Wizard of Oz", "Singin' in the Rain", "Lord of the Rings"
Favorite Music Musical theater, classical, classic rock, vocal jazz.
Favorite Books Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters, The Great Divorce, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Prince, Mary Higgins Clark, George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire"

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?

Most definitely whistling with wood. The soap would melt away sooner or later and be very messy in the meantime, and my whittles are not likely to be very good. My whistles, on the other hand, have much more promise, could be played on the makeshift instrument for years to come, and could be remembered and repeated long after the wood whistle had worn away.
