| Introduction | This is a blog for those who are concerned about unreasonable development in Alexandria and the preservation of our quality of life. Andrew is a native Alexandrian. He holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Western Ontario. An avid environmentalist and photographer, Andrew has traveled by ship to Antarctica and Southeast Alaska. Andrew has been involved in Alexandria's civic life since the early 1990s, when he began writing a column for the Gazette Packet Called "Earth Watch Alexandria." He has been involved in efforts to save land along the Potomac River, and fought against the construction of National Harbor. Andrew is a former Vice-Mayor of Alexandria. |
