| Introduction | My name is Tim Gorman and this is my blog. I am the grape-grower and winemaker for my family's small farm named Cardinal Point Vineyard and Winery in Afton, Virginia. I have been growing classic European grapes for over 20 years now. We used to sell all our fruit, but in 2002 we built a winery and make our own wine now producing roughly 3000 cases per year. This blog is both to inform people interested in learning all about Virginia wine and to archive my thoughts, successes, and mistakes with regards to wine and everything else. |
