| Interests | As a design student, it is essential part to think in visual terms. The images in our head are not limited to what we see at present, our mind is capable of forming, exploring and recording images beyond the normal bound of time & space. so imagination enables us to have senses of past as well a plan for future. Learning to draw is really a matter of learning to see correctly and that means one should learn how to observe. When we draw, we are actually studying that subject, what we perceive and observe get registered in the mind and flows through our hand on paper. Taking the above path i have been involved with academics, teaching at various design institutes as visiting faculty, plus conducting number of workshops related to art, design & leather craft. Being faculty at architecture institute IPSA Rajkot & interior design institutes NSID Rajkot. I am supposed to facilitate the students to enhance their sketching power, develop sense of perspectives and three dimensional thinking. Also exploring media and material, Make 3D statements with basic materials like Clay, lime, gypsum. Plus conducting leather workshops …experiments with conventional & non-conventional products. At Kalaraksha vidayalaya Kutch, we explore presentation techniques with skilled traditional designers & craftsmen. |
