| Introduction | I fell in love with science as a second grader. For reasons partly to do with me and partly to do with the education reforms being put into place in 1970 in Long Island, NY, I learned very little of the "regular curriculum." I did fall in love with dinosaurs however, and remember being mystified and awestruck later when I saw men walk on the moon, and then splash down to earth again. |
