Kenan Fellows at LCE

About me

Industry Education
Location New York, NY, United States
Introduction Now in its 18th year, the William R. Kenan Jr. Performing Arts Fellowship at Lincoln Center Education seeks to provide emerging artists (recently graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts) with knowledge of aesthetic education that will prepare them to work in arts and education in New York City. Fellows participate in LCE's teaching artist professional development and support a range of programs from the classroom to the community. Each Fellow is mentored by a teaching artist in their discipline who supports and assists them as they embark on their careers. The Fellowship also allows time to pursue artistic studies, performances, and professional networking. Fellows are encouraged to apply to produce an artistic project to be presented at Lincoln Center Education's Clark Studio Theater. This Fellowship is made possible through the generous support from the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust and the William R. Kenan, Jr. Fund for the Arts.
