| Introduction | Miss West Africa is an annual beauty pageant and contest between the various competitive West African countries to find the best female face and mind to represent the whole of West Africa, bringing unity to the region and highlight various social concerns. The first ever and official Miss West Africa took place on the 8th november in london at the Conway Hall 2008 making groundbreaking history with the title going to Amina Kamara of Sierra Leone origin.
