| Introduction | I question whether one more voice can be heard above the roar of the blogosphere, and if so, what exactly is it I want to say? This turns out to be quite an exercise in self-reflection. What I’ve come to realize is that all of my interests share a common thread. This came as no surprise to a friend who said, " Your core is design, it is who you are." She was spot on. I have been inspired by creativity and design all of my life. I am an interior designer, a former antique dealer and currently a senior appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers. So I guess you could say that I have an educated eye. Now I am blogging about my passions and sharing some of my favorite things. I live in Austin and most of what I write about will be what eyeFind in my own backyard, the Texas Hill Country and elsewhere in my travels. I hope you will join me in my journey as I focus on fabulous food, finds, gardens and designs. It's a big palette, but hey, I'm ready. Game on. |
