Introduction	Born in the burbs, destined to live in the country... As long as I can remember, I've had an innate love of nature and animals. I was the little girl who wanted to bring home every lost or injured critter she wandered upon. Early in life I discovered the healing power of the great outdoors. When my husband and I were expecting our first child we bought a humble little house on 10 acres in a small town we'd never heard of before. In just a few years we've been blessed with two little girls, rescued a few dogs, acquired a small flock of Shetland sheep, raised several egg laying hens, and realized just how much we have yet to learn about ourselves, each other and the world around us.
