| Introduction | I am a self taught artist who is still very much learning and evolving in her craft. Life has started to slow down, affording me the opportunity (after decades!) to spend my time doing what I love best. As a resident of Leland, NC, we are close to many beaches. My husband and I explore the Carolina coast on the weekends, and most of my days are spent painting many of the scenes that I capture on our outings. |
| Favorite Movies | My love for nature inspires everything I paint. From the beauty of the endless sky, to the changing moods of a deep sea, my brush represents what my eyes see and my heart feels. My greatest joy is picking up a brush and losing track of time as I recreate images from nature on canvas. I’m not as focused on the end result, as I am on enjoying the process - each piece of art is a journey that takes me down a different path to reach my destination. We have three wonderful grown-up children (I lean on my lovely daughter the most for guidance and encouragement), and Rex, our sweet little beagle, is my constant companion. My artistic journey has only just begun. I hope my art can capture just a bit of nature’s boundless beauty and spread some happiness in the world. |
