You've got to make contact with the alien leader. How will you tell when the conversation is finished?
Well, I'll have the Doctor (preferably Eleven) with me, so the TARDIS will be able to translate what the alien is saying so that we will be able to understand it. Therefore, when the conversation is finished, we will know because the Doctor and I will be able to understand it. It's simple, really.
