Introduction	I'm at my best in the kitchen. Or on the phone with relatives back home while sitting in my Nana's chair, blowing smoke out my bedroom window and swirling my tequila, neat, in a tumbler. My imagination runs free -- A certain song, sequence of moments, or aroma can bring me to an alternate world more mystical and sensual than my own. I just passed my 1-year-back mark and I'm fully satisfied being back in the city and itching to leave again at the same time. For that, I will start writing again. For fun and to keep myself accountable for the goals I set. Let's see where it goes.

Favorite music	Everything. Love the latin beats - merengue, salsa, bachata, reggaeton, Aventura, Marc Anthony, Elvis Crespo, Hector Lavoe (I dance like a monkey) Muse, Radiohead, Gossip, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Lady Gaga, David Guetta, DJ Tiesto......
Favorite books	The Alchemist, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Death and Life of Great American Cities, The Girl w/ the Dragon Tattoo series..... don't read much, actually.
