| Introduction | Greetings from the frontline. In this blog, I aim to dispel the myths surrounding single mothers on low incomes, & report to you the hoops we have to jump through endlessly to stay with a roof over our heads & food in our bellies. Don’t worry though, it’s not all doom & gloom. How could it be, when I live with a feisty 5 yr old who apparently knows more than I do? She is the sugar in my bowl. I aim to post weekly news of my dealings with the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) plus I shall also be posting incendiary rants that I would love feedback on, plus mostly anything else I feel like. |
