I was awarded a first class BA (hons) in history and later a Ph.D from the University of Derby. My Ph.D. thesis is titled ‘The Development of the National Forest: the transformative agency of trees in the English Midlands’. I am the Senior Cultural Heritage Officer for the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, council member for the English Place Name Society, committee member for the Staffordshire Archaeological and Historical Society, and trustee for People Express, and Four Shires History. I am a parish councillor and chair of our local allotments committee. |
