| Introduction | I'm a 40-year-old father of two. Teacher. Coach. Author. Musician. Sports Journo. Compassion sponsorship is my way of responding to the extravagant relentless love of God, by using what I've been given to help others. In the last 15 years I've sponsored 85 kids in 26 countries and been to visit 40+ in 12 countries, on 11 separate trips. I've stared abject poverty in the face and it was horrifying, but I also saw Hope, Joy and Love in action as Compassion and the church brought genuine Hope to the communities where they work. I have seen it in action and I want to spread the message that Compassion sponsorship works. |
