| Introduction | Jeremiah 15:18, the prophet laments his relationship with God. NAB notes describe: "A treacherous brook: that dries up when its waters are needed. The prophet complains that he cannot rely on God with unfailing assurance of his assistance." I find that the things I understand about human nature -our politics, our relationship with God, etc., cannot be separated, one from another. When we do--trouble ensues. This blog is an attempt to connect the dots. I am a practicing Catholic married to a Permanent Deacon. Mom of three, grandmother to two (so far!). |
