| Introduction | Heidi and Lee travel alot. Early blogged trips took us to the national parks "out West" and to Japan.. September 2008 we added a trip along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. Next comes India (December 2008 with Christmas holidays in England); a week at Chautauqua followed (July 2009); and Egypt (September 2009); In June 2010 we traveled from Hilton Head Island to Vancouver. October 2010 found us again in India, In Autumn 2011 we traveled to Washington, DC, and on to Nova Scotia. Our 2012 adventures got off with a February family visit in Illinois prior to a tour of Costa Rica. In March, Lee set off with grandson Sean and son-in-law Ted to Japan (a trip repeated with Colin in 2015 and three other grandkids - plus parents, Heidi and a family friend - in 2018). In August we headed to the Bay Area and a niece's wedding in Santa Monica. In late October we were off to Burma. May 2013 found us settling into Barcelona. Next? Turkey (May 2014) and Spain (September 2014). In April of 2016 we added the islands of Java and Bali in Indonesia followed in May by a Japanese cruise (for both of us) and two October Smithsonian tours (for Lee). |
