| Introduction | Se crea con el objetivo de realizar un trabajo artístico – cultural que haga de la Danza Contemporánea un lenguaje corporal, que exprese nuestro que hacer, pensar y sentir como salvadoreños o latinoamericanos. O+D pretende contribuir, a través de la danza, con la formación y fortalecimiento de nuestra identidad cultural nacional a punto de extinción. Nace en 1991, con el objetivo de seguir realizando el trabajo artístico–cultural del histórico grupo Evolución Danza Contemporánea, luego de su primera separación. Es así como después de muchos años, el maestro Julio Mejía hecha a andar el segundo proyecto histórico de Julio Fuegos Oxígeno+Danza...Contemporánea de El Salvador. Contemporary of El Salvador It is created with the objective to make an artistic and cultural work that does of the contemporary dance a body language, that express our job, thoughts, and feelings as Salvadorans and Latin Americans. O+D expects to contribute through dance, with formation and strengthening of our national cultural identity on the verge of expiry. It was founded in 1991, in order to continue making the artistic and cultural work of the historical group “Evolution” Contemporary dance, then of its first separation. That is how after many years, the professor Julio Mejía jumps-start the second historical project of Julio Fuegos “Oxygen + Dance….Contemporary of El Salvador”.
