| Introduction | I heartily believe, as Thoreau said, that "Shams and delusions are esteemed as soundest truths, while reality is fabulous. If men would steadily observe realities only, and not allow themselves to be deluded, life, to compare it with such things as we know, would be like a fairy tale..." I believe that it is not in the daily grind of traffic and cubicles that we find reality. Reality is not found in cynicism and purposelessness, nor in the naive bliss of ignorance. Reality is joyously found in the wisdom of knowing all truth. It is there, when we neither ignore the dragon nor the "happily ever after," where life can truly become a fairy tale. Yes, I believe that reality is fabulous, and it's my mission to prove to you just that. |
