Introduction	After my recent return to the Bay Area from New York, I realized that an art community is strengthened by multiple perspectives. I decided to add a new voice in the critical discussion to broaden awareness of the vibrant art scene in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have completed graduate coursework at both the San Franscico Art Institute and Parsons the New School for Art and Design and will receive a Masters of Fine Art this coming summer. Not only will I review exhibitions that seem noteworthy but I will also focus on smaller shows, lectures and venues which do not commonly receive attention from the mainstream press. It is my intention to add to the discourse, so I invite comments from artists, gallerists, curators and art lovers alike.
